Released: October 20, 2026
Data exports now include a new setting, "Apply source segment filters to repeated records," which controls whether your source segment's filters also decide which items become rows in your export file.
You'll see this checkbox when your export is repeated on any of the following: Alert, Appointment, Case, Conversation, Decision, Decision Checklist, Payment, Task, or Transcript.
Before this update, if your segment filtered on the same type of item you were repeating on, those filters were automatically applied to your export's rows. For example, a student has both Admitted and Denied decisions. You create a segment of students with an Admitted decision. Then you create an export for that segment repeating on Decisions with Item to Export set to All. This would export only that student's Admitted decision, not both the Admitted and Denied.
After the update, the new setting lets you choose how the filtering behaves.
New checkbox: When checked, only items that match your segment's filters are exported. When unchecked, every item of that type is exported for each person in your segment.
Using the example of the student with both Admitted and Denied decisions, checking the box would export only the Admitted decision, while leaving it unchecked would export both the Admitted and Denied decisions.
Supported types: The setting appears for Alerts, Appointments, Cases, Conversations, Decisions, Decision Checklists, Payments, Tasks, and Transcripts. For other types, such as Applications, you can already filter items with the Conditions setting in export settings.
Existing exports keep their current behavior: Exports created before this update have the setting checked, so your scheduled files are unchanged.
Works with First, Last, and All: Your order settings are applied first. When the box is checked, First, Last, and All only include items that match the source segment's filters.
New exports: The setting defaults to unchecked on newly created exports.
You get a clear, per-export choice over which rows come along for each person in your segment: a filtered list or a complete history.
