"Available For" filtering now covers more data sources and, more importantly, applies inside application forms rather than only on the registration screen where an applicant picks which application to start.
Schools support Available For, any regular data source can carry a new Filter Many column, and Student Type now includes an Applications filter. Inside an application, a dropdown shows only the options that match the current application and the applicant's earlier answers. Previously filters were ignored once an applicant was inside the form, which pushed schools into building separate applications as a workaround.
Filtering Applies Inside Application Forms
Scoped drop downs at every step: data source drop downs such as majors and schools are now scoped by the current application and prior responses throughout the form, not only on the registration screen.
Filters can reference other steps: the field picker for "Filter available options" now includes fields from earlier steps and from the registration form, not only fields in the same section. Conditional logic already worked this way; availability filters now match it.

Available For on Schools: schools can be scoped by Applications, Student Types, Terms, and Campus, bringing them in line with Majors, Terms, Degrees, and Campuses.
New "Filter Many" Column on Regular Data Sources
Per-row scoping for any regular data source: add a Filter Many column and scope each row by Applications, Student Types, Campus, Terms, or Schools. Regular data sources previously stored only flat value and name pairs with no per-row metadata.
Bind once, scope per application: a single shared data source can be bound to a dropdown on several applications, and each row appears only on the applications set on that row.
Things to Know
Caching delay on new relationships: data source expansion results are cached, so a newly added Available For relationship can take up to roughly 30 minutes to appear in a form.
Not every pairing is available: each data source can only be scoped by the dimensions it carries. Majors can be scoped by Term, Degree, Campus, School, and Student Type, while Terms can only be scoped by Application, Campus, and School. Open an item’s Available For tab to see what it offers.
Schools can keep one clean application where applicants only ever see the choices that apply to them, which cuts invalid selections at the source. It also removes the maintenance burden for institutions that split into parallel applications purely to work around filtering, such as separate graduate and undergraduate applications built only to control which majors appear.
